01 · Hydraulics
Three pumps, four movements at once.
Three pumps work in the R22 Pro: one each for boom, arm and slewing, plus a control valve with a wide control range and a variable displacement pump. That lets you move bucket, boom, arm and upper structure at the same time, quickly and smoothly. Although it's a 2-tonne-class digger, it offers 18.4 kN digging force and around 4.14 m of reach.
02 · Adjustable undercarriage
From 1,300 to 1,500 mm at the push of a lever.
With a single lever, you adjust the track width hydraulically in seconds. Narrow at 1,300 mm, you drive the R22 onto the trailer and through entrances; wide at 1,500 mm, it stands stable when digging and lifting. The rubber tracks with herringbone tread run quietly, and the travel motor sits protected inside.
03 · The engine
Kubota D1105 with 25 hp.
The proven, water-cooled three-cylinder Kubota D1105 delivers 18.2 kW and meets emission Stage V. It gives the R22 the power for heavy earthworks. Rear and side covers open wide without tools: engine, filters and tank are exposed, and a separate flap gives access to the hydraulic valves and lines.
04 · The cab
Air conditioning and heating as standard.
In the enclosed cab you work comfortably in summer and winter alike: air conditioning and heating are standard. The large display shows all operating values and immediately reports overheating or faults in hydraulics and charging. The adjustable comfort seat supports back, pelvis and neck even on long days.
05 · Built for everyday work
Windscreen, warning light, connection.
The hardened-glass windscreen can be opened when it gets hot. The warning light on the roof reports immediately if something is wrong. Travel and operating levers are combined in one control system, so you drive and dig at the same time. Using the 3-way shut-off valve, you quickly switch the hydraulic oil to breaker or auger.
